Rev. Shane Isner became the pastor at Plymouth Creek on August 3, 2008, and has loved being here ever since. As the photos make obvious, he's a young pastor- born October 9, 1981- although PCCC isn't his first gig. After attending the University of Chicago Divinity School, he spent two years in Lexington, KY working on staff of a large, wonderful, downtown church- Central Christian Church. Before that, he studied philosophy and music at Colorado College, the state where he was born and raised and still returns to regularly to visit Mom and Pops (and ski- hence the picture).
Pastor Shane is married to Rev. Tabitha Isner- a policy research analyst in early childhood education by day and a religious program evaluation consultant in her spare time. More importantly, they are proud parents to Fawkes the Dog, a beautiful tan mutt from the Humane Society. Besides family and work and skiing, Shane can be found on his couch, watching as many Denver Broncos and UK basketball games as possible, or working his way through the AFI Top 100 American Movies list. Otherwise, he enjoys playing soccer, working out, reading big history books and getting away into the wonder of God's Awe-Inspiring Creation.
